Guys I went and saw nothing only fresh tracks. I walked trail about 3 miles and my gps told me I was in private property.i did see fresh tracks just no animal. On my way out I ran In to some gus on a 4runner that had just packed one out of sweetwater . Im still hopefull that I will run into a pig. Ive been shooting dozens of apples at 100 yards just to make sure that when he shows up I can do my part. I think im heading out again tomorrow so anyone interested let me know. I also had my go pro recorded my whole trip. But it wasnt worth keeping . Im wondering if I should try sweetwater trail

This is the 2nd time I've heard somebody talk about pigs near crocker springs. I have worked near there for 10 years and have hunted quail and yotes in the area. I have never seen any sign that pigs could be there but these rumors have to start somewhe r? We have seen antelope, bobcats, badgers and deer over the years but never any pigs or any sign of pigs. I just don't think there's a decent food source in that area. I hope I'm wrong and they boom in population because that would mean I could hunt before and after work!

Antelope? never would have guessed that. learn something new everyday...

I've hunted that place many times and of those many times I've only seen one pig over by Sweetwater...I spooked the pig walking up the hill..damn those dried up oak leaves...and I couldn't get a shot off fast enough...I'm pretty sure the pigs in that area only move at night...so I say be at your hunting spot before sun rise....

Its a little spooky in the dark... I ran into a Mother Mtn Lion and her Cubs at 4:30 or 5 am in the morning before light on the trail and she let me know she wasn't happy... I let her know I wasn't taking it kindly she was yelling at me by singing Opera.. Hahaha... Going by yourself there is pretty challenging... Goodluck if your going there alone
