Going to Laguna Mnt and a few other places. First time.

Me and a friend are going to hunt some piggies this weekend. Sun-Tues. We plan on going to Laguna Mnt, Curry Mnt, Condon Peak, and CottonWood Creek. Any recent updates with these? Anyone going to be up there and want to hunt with us?ig-laughing:

Wish I could get up there. I have only been to Curry once and it is steep right off the bat, but once you get up to the ridge you will have a great vantage point to glass. Let me know how you guys do.

Just a heads up.
Upper & Lower Cottonwood are CLOSED to all hunting until A-zone archery deer.

Hunting is allowed from A-zone archery through the last Sunday in January.
No hunting & no weapons allowed in between.

DFG patrols these areas regularly & was one of the film sites for Wild Justice.

Ok thanks. Cottonwood have been crossed off the to-do list.
Anyone got tops for hunting Laguna with a shotgun? Should i try to track them or wait?

How did you guys do? I've been eyeing this area for awhile and because of my legs got permission from BLM to drive into restricted areas. Only problem is that the road was washed out. So much for that idea.
