Photo Tom Stienstra/SF Chronicle The Golden Gate National Recreation Area, with 14.5 million visitors, was the No. 2 most visited national parkland in America last year behind Blue Ridge Parkway. In addition, Yosemite National Park was the No. 3 most visited national park, behind Great Smoky Mountains and the Grand Canyon.
