i live in so cal ...dont mind driving too much...is it still worth joining...are there any other clubs ut there that i can compare the two big ones to...and thanks for all the info
Most of GRAM is in Norcal. WU has allot of different propertys all over. Any other club/access onto land is gonna be small outfits. Tejon Ranch offers GREAT place to hunt deer, pigs, predators, fishing, campin. Closer to you also.
thanks dave...tejon is a bit pricey...think i will look into grm...how are they about archery...do they have areas just for that...and once you pay your membership fee do they hit you with more costs...and do you have a problem getting on any ranches....
WU has quite a few ranches that are Archery only. Most kick out book P&Y black tail bucks every year. Some also have a lot of pigs on them. WU has a one time initiation fee and then is is standard dues every year after that.
GRAM is also a one time Fee and then your yearly dues on your anniversery date. They only have one ranch that is archery only. You can read about them or contact them with questions through email at.
I'm also a GR member and the club is awesome. Properties are great. I almost always get a hog and deer each year. Fees are very reasonable. It's a great way to get back into hunting which is why I joined. Definitely worth checking them out.
