Golden Ram??

Guys,
I was offered a free hunt on either of the two Golden Ram clubs down near Hollister. It was a one time deal probably for the first or second weekend in May. The manager of my duck club had to move us from the rice field we've been in for the past five years due to a crop rotation. He moved us to a field we've never shot before and is a little more expensive but is much closer to the Sutter Bypass. We don't know what to expect this season. To make up for it he offered one of the three of us a free pig hunt. Nobody else wanted it so I got it. It sounds like it is unguided and I will be camping on the ranch. I have from Thursday to Sunday to hunt. Was just wondering if there are any Golden Ram members here who have hunted either of these ranches, could give me some advice, and what the expectations are.

Is it the Cholame or the Parkfield property? I've not hunted either of the property but I heard the Parkfield property is just more of a walk in the wood. I drove by the Cholame property a few times and it looks very good. I know a guy that hunted that property and got his pig every year. But if I had a choice to pick a Golden Ram property to hunt pig, I'd pick the Hegdepeth property.

I was in parkfield 6 weeks ago and we saw a lot of Hogs and some heavy sign.
Right now is probably about the best time of year for that area.

I don't think I have the option of the Hedgepeth property. Will have to make do with one of the others. Will be getting some more info in a couple weeks. Thanks for your help.

Parkfield and Chalome aren't near Hollister. Get us a ranch name and you'll get more info.
