found this match set about 200 yds apart. 11in g2's grosses around 130's with a 16in spread

found this one about 10 minutes into the hunt. really weak genetics has the mass of 3 1/2 yr but tine length is terrible.

Congrats on the finds!! The match set is nice. Tine length kills our racks here and we are happy with 8 inch tines. Congrats again.

Hey that's a great set and no doubt will be one of the "crown jewels" of your collection. As for that single with the heavy gnarly bases and "short" time, better get him out of the gene poll, huh? I'm guessing your matched set is a solid 3 year old ...what do you figure?

it has the mass of a 2 yr but tine length of a 3 but im really leaning more toward it being a 3. that match set is small compared to the other antlers that i know are in the area. there are 2 160 class deer and 4 p&y class deer whos antlers i havent found yet.

south of the border ive gone in racine twice and found nothing then i went down to illinose once and found three there is just alot more deer in the spot i go in ilinose then there is in racine.
