I know I'm putting the cart ahead of the horse but I'm going on a hog hunt in a couple of weeks on a private ranch and if I get the boar that I'm looking for I'm planning on having a mount done. Any recommendations (with approx. costs) would be appreciated.

There's a gentleman in Fremont and I'll try to dig up his number... If I can ask what guide are you going with? Thanks in advance...

The ranch I'm hunting is located near Santa Barbara in the east end of the San Ynez valley. 37,000 acres that is loaded with wildlife. The ranch has it's own hunting program, no outside guides. It's kind of a word of mouth deal as far as hunting it. It costs to hunt but they keep it very low key.

West Coast Taxidermy in San Bruno. www.taxidermystudios.com

Ron did a caribou bull for me that came out great and quicker than most shops turn them out. Prices are posted on the website.

Good luck!
