Well LS pig hunters, you guys were right! I LOVE Oregon!!! Not only is it beautiful but the people are awesome as well. I enjoy my new job very much but with the summer season approaching it makes me miss Lake Sonoma and you guys!

I was just up hunting in OR two weeks ago, and it is awesome. Everybody's cool. Got offered a bunch of properties before I even got there. One guy overheard us talking about hunting at a bar and offered to let me hunt his property! Different world up there for sure.

Great to hear from u Rachel! glad everything is working out for u in Oregon sounds like a great state, it's one state I always wanted to vist but never had the chance. I am having a great time in Florida myself like u said it's real scenic here too and people are so chill. A whole different ball game then Ca. With all its political issues and state financial problems That's for sure.
Yeh it's going to be different that we won't be at L.S. for the pig hunting season but now I got gators to play with, talk about excitement and danger at the same time.

NorCalBowhunter: I agree! The people up here are amazing and friendly. That sounds about right that someone would offer their land to you to hunt on. RIGHT ON!! I love it here! I hope your hunt was successful!

TRA: Now, one thing that is different for me is I found out I don't like beer but I do enjoy a good oatmeal stout with friends. I just told my friends that I've never consumed so much alcohol then I have when I moved to Oregon. And by a lot I mean about 2 a week! If that! LoL! I'm so happy that you're happy TRA! Your pics look so peaceful and calming. The pics make me miss SoCal and being at the beach all the time. I just got back from a long walk along the Columbia. I've been hiking on the weekends, just getting out and exploring the beautiful area. I'm heading back to SoCal & NorCal in September for a short visit. I just can't stay away, I miss my family & friends too much. Well take care of yourself and stay safe when you're around those gators!
