Ok heres my story got up around 3:30 drove to a private ranch that i have access to in priest valley. He was the only pig top show up he moved on down from a neighbors property and i just sat there waiting with my 25-06. As he came closer to wihin 130 yds i laid down and sent my handloaded 117grain sierra boatail screaming through the pigs heart and lungs. When i gutted him it all looked like jellly, so who says small calibers can't hang, its all about shot placement. My bullet actually did a pass through. Pig ran about 60 yds and called it quits. Guessed live weight in 250 plus range, I'm only 5' 7" and 145lbs and the pig easily doubles my body size. Im getting it mounted post pics in a year when it is done. And im not a CHP yet but in a year or two will be entering the academy as soon as i finish school.

Way to go, kid! Stick with the CHP, it's tough enough getting in, but once you're there, it's worth it.

Congrats again on the hog... that's a real brute. Enough to make my momma proud!

P.s. LMAO MJB - Your Avatar is the funniest thing I've ever seen!!!
