I was sitting in some cover at a pig trail and got bored. Walked some cattle/pig trails through heavy brush, made to much noise, saw two pigs run by. Went back to the pig trail, sat for 30 minutes, bored, got out of the woods into mesquite trees with grass. Saw a pig in a couple of minutes about 25-30 yards away. Got down and watched, the pig moved slowly between the trees rooting up some food, got a shot a took it, it ran, it was not a real easy shot but I did not think I missed. Then I saw all the other pigs that I could not see run, about 5 adults and 10-15 piglets run for the woods. I followed them and found the pig I shot, she ran maybe 30 yards. I have been working two pig trails for the same family of 5, I throw some corn on both and will sit at one. The one I did not sit at yesterday the corn was gone when I checked on my way home....
