Sorry guys for the late story, computer problem. well i got these 180lbs boar last weekend with three of my hunting friends at mike's ranch (baumgartner) located in sanbenito.its a guided hunt for two days. The hunt start friday afternoon and two of the hunter in our group tag out early, the property have lot's of pig but i want one with a respectable cutter.saturday the weather is so bad we end up staying at the smiths house almost the whole morning fog is so thick visibility is only twenty feet .that afternoon the third hunter shot 120lb boar. The following morning we are on top the look uot point before day break, about 7:30 the ranch hand on the next canyon radio'd us that there's a pig below us 200 yards and running, the guide told me to load and shoot if the shot is presented. the brush is so thick i end up shooting the pig at 50 yards with my trusted a bolt 270wsm .the bad thing about that morning is ,i forgot my camera at truck that's why i only have the picture of the boar at the cleaning station. over all Baumgartner ranch never disappoint us for the last four years.
