Got my mount back.

My 04 AZ elk. The hide is still wet. My family almost finished off the meat before I got him back. He is a 9 x 7 , would have been a 10 x 8 if a point on each side were not broken off.

Thanks. I had a pretty good hunt, AZ unit 10 early rifle. I am not sure I took the biggest bull I saw, but I liked the way he looked the best. I got to look at him pretty good, I stalked in from a vantage point a couple of miles away, and had to wait for him to get up for a couple of hours, because his cows were blocking a good shot. My story was in the last Trophy Hunter magazine, but I lost the copy on my computer. I'll write up more after I get back from my hunts., I am off to NV antelope hunting (112-114) tomorrow, then I have an early high country deer hunt in CO (43) immediately following the antelope hunt. Poor poor pitiful me. See you in a few weeks.
