[attachment=33147:attachment][attachment=33148:attachment]Finally able to get (and fix) the horns I've seen on grandpas wall since I was born. Grandpa used to hunt yearly back in the '70s in Utah as well as here in the state. Said one year in Utah he was walking along and noticed a horn sticking out of the ground at the site of a recent mudslide. Started clearing the dirt away thinking he had stumbled upon a forkie (seeing as though he could only see one of the front beams at first.) Well, as he puts it "after digging in the mud for nearly 20 minutes, I finally found the top of the deers head!" He cut them off and put them on the mirror (he was in the glass trade so hence the fancy mirror.) Gave them to my pops years ago and they were hanging on the wall in the garage broken. I asked for them just before I moved and now I have them up!! Love looking at them. Mirror is about 22" wide at the hips so the horns are probably around 24"X24". Just thought I'd share.

I forgot. Can't really tell by the pic but it's almost a perfectly symmetrical 4X4. Almost left the best part out...

Yeah. Utah muley from the 70s. Nothing special, just a "family heirloom" now.

Thanks fellas. The mirror is kind of a family "heirloom" now. Nowadays, your normal wall hanging mirror is less than 1/4" thick. This one, seeing as though my g-pa was in the glass trade, is 3/8" thick (and heavy!!) Joe public can't even buy a mirror like this anymore. When pops gave the the whole setup he told me I had to "make the mirror work." So there it is. Thanks again.
