Hey guys, I have my Grizzly Island Period 9 Cow hunt coming up. I just wanted to say Thank you again for everyone's input and suggestions, I cant wait for this trip. I was wondering if anyone else from Jesses will be up there for the hunt and what your plans are as far as camping vs staying at a hotel. My friend and I are coming from Southern Ca. so I booked a hotel in Suisun City and it would be cool to meetup with some other hunters while we're up there. Does anyone else on here have the same tag? Also does anyone have some stories from this years Tule hunts so far?

Damn!!! After this years hunt, I will begin my long wait to try and draw a Tule Bull tag. I’m only 30 so I figure I’ve hopefully got the next 30 years to try and draw a bull tag. If not me, hopefully one of my kids will get a Tule bull tag one day. I bet this was a hunt your brother will never forget.
Thank you, I really intend to enjoy it and drag it out as long as possible. I spoke with Orlando the biologist at Grizzly island on tuesday, which was the first day of the current cow tag hunt and he said 4 tags had been filled by 10:30am. Don’t get me wrong, I’m anxious to fill my tag and I’m not going to pass on an opportunity to take a shot, but I would like it to last more than a few hours.

My son drew the junior cow hunt two years ago. He closed the deal at around 10:00 am on day 1 (after missing one at first light). She was 405 lb. on the hoof. Absolutely delicious! Good luck! It's a quick, but exciting hunt.
