Went out yesteday for a 1 hour walk(through 3' of snow).decided that I would take a easy way back to the truck, through a narrow spruce strip.
I spotted an antler laying beam tip up from 30' away, and it turned out to be the left antler off this deer.
I had not expected to find it anywhere near this spot.Looked around for a few more minutes but came up empty handed on the right antler.I was hoping to find them out in the field, as it usually makes it a lot easier finding the set.
Put a tape to the horn and came up with 81".I'll post some pics. in the near futur.
Hope to get out Saturday to look for the other side.

Congrats Laker!!It's one thing to find a big shed,but to find a big shed off a buck your looking for.Excellent!!
Looks like baddison is half way there to hunting that buck.LOL.

the right side has yet to be found.the deep snow is making it tough.However did manage to find another 80" antler the other day.
I will post some pictures soon(hopefully with the matches)
