I have been on vacation for the last two weeks and am just getting back to doing the normal stuff again. The video was rated a success by Speckmisser. here is his quote...

"BEAR! This is AWESOME!

Except, it doesn't work on my DVD player. It loads, and says it's playing, but I don't see anything. Had to watch on computer.

But the video is great! Excellent footage and stills. You put it all together really nicely, and you picked one of my favorite guitar licks to go with it.

All in all, nice job. I'd like to get a copy of this to Barbara at Tejon, too.

Wonderful.

Phillip"

Anyone interested in geting a copy just send me $2.50 for the packageing and postage along with a return address and I'll get them out to you. To Huntsndives I'll have yours in the mail tomorrow.

It doesn't work in all dvd players but should in the newer ones.

Once again, for all to see...

The video is a definite memory blast. If you were there, it ought to take you back. If you weren't there, it's a pretty good video brochure to plan for next time.

Nice work, Barry!

Got 10 videos out in the mail today. you all should be getting them in the next day or so. I hadn't thought about how long it was going to take to make copies. I wasn't able to just copy the disc. It would run in my dvd player that way so for each one I had to make an original and that took a bit of time. So everyone that has sent me thier stuff as of yesterday will be recieving them soon. I hope you enjoy them. BTW Speck, I sent one to Barbara with your name and addy for the return address.

Got mine today. I think it's great. I was so engrossed that I barely noticed the transition From movie to stills. What was the guitar music ?
A job well done.

Bwana,

The guitar was the instrumental jam (T-bone Burnett) version of Man of Constant Sorrow from Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?

Pretty cool, and a great groove to go with the images, huh?

Again, nice job, Bear!

Glad you liked it. I got 4 more videos going out tommorrow. I was wondering what you used to view the video Bwana? I view each copy in my dvd play to make sure it works. Guess I'm not as comfortable in the reliability of my cd burner as I should be. I haven't had one, not work, in the last 15 or so copies. Speck is right on that guitar lick. It is a great movie by the way (Oh Brother, where art thou.) I reccomend it highly, and I'm a scifi horror type movie watch for the most part. Best Cluny movie out there.

My DVD player did not recognize it. It gave me a insert disc prompt. When I tried it in my computer it worked fine.

Mine works in the little tv/dvd combo player but not in my Sony dvd player which is probably maybe 4 years old... but the video is still pretty cool, brings back good memories of the week-end. Can't wait for the next slam....

hhhhmmmmmm!
I'm testing it in a portable dvd play with a 7 inch screen. I'll check it out on my bigger dvd play on the main tv and see if it works there. Like I say, anyone that can't get it to work let me know and I'll send an mpg file that will work with windows media player.

I got 3 more videos going out tomorrow. I know henriksson is in the group with two others. Sorry it took so long but I got the requests after I got back from my 9 day vacation. Did some dove hunting on the 13th and 14th in the imperial valley. saw quite a few birds but they were really skiddish. Got 3 in about 7 hours of hunting. (4 hours the first evening and 3 the next morning) Still had a great time. Looking forward to quail season. I joined WU and so far I'm satisfied. Going to do some pig hunting soon I hope. and water fowl this year too.
