this is a 3" chambered 24"barrel.
Before I buy this thing will it fit my wingmaster 870 pump 2 3/4 only?
And is it a good choice for my slug gun conversion

There is a forum for shotguns in the guns and ammo section. You may get better answers there since this is about piggies. there is also a gunsmith section.

really??? did you not get flowers for valentines day? who made you the posting sheriff ?
I said "Thanks" and posted my question on the shotgun section.
that was a sarcastic, rude and uncalled for comment to someone you don't even know.
It's a fact that there are very knowledgable people that
only look at this section. I will post my questions where I feel It will help me.
Not where you decide it is fitting or not.

Got this from their website. WARNING! Remington AmmunitionRemington Ammunition is not recommended for use in Hastings Barrels. It has been reported that damage to the barrel can occur when customers used Remington Sabot Ammunition.Hastings/Verney-Carron/KEBCO LLC will not be responsible for any damage incurred while using Remington sabot ammunition. Although the damage reported to date is to the barrel, this is no assurance that even more serious damage or injury could not occur. You are assuming all risks if you use Remington Sabot ammunition in Hastings barrels.

Itdann...I took your advice from the shotgun post and have been searching for the remington barrel.
It just makes sense to stick with the remington. thanks for this post, it confirms that I was on the wrong track.
im also thinking about aquireing a 1100 or 1187 w/rifled barrel already set up, but the price goes sky high on those.
thanks again. im grateful for the info.

My buddy bought his 870 cantilever barrel from remington and he never regretted it. He says he paid around $250 for his cantilever barrel. It's more accurate than my 11-87, and your right, the 1100 and 11-87 setups are pricey. If you shop around abit, you should be able to find one under $300

Sorry. I misunderstood but there are categories for a reason. There are too many weapon questions. You may want to adjust your attitude though, you reap what you sow.

You came at me with your comment first. I just replied as necessary. and again you seem to
want to micro manage who is posting what and where.
If I want to ask about a camshaft for my 350 chevy in the hog section I will.
If you don't like it. Don't look at it.
YOU may want to practice what you preach.
"you reap what you sow" is exactly what you received.

cali-carnivore needs to stop trying to tell people what, where and how to do things.
He should run for president of the united states. That guy does the same thing.

For what its worth I put a Hastings Cantilever barrel on my 870 in 1996 so that I could use it in areas 29 and 30 at FHL

still on there today and it is extremely accurate... hurts like hell, but accurate...

I have shot many different sabots out of it but Federal made a barnes sabot that I use and still have plenty of. Not sure if they still make it or not. Did i mention it hurt?

and BTW i didnt even know there was a shotgun section... I only look at Killing pigs and then how to make sausage and stuff...

I ended up with a new mossberg 535 slugster. I will keep my 870 smooth bore for turkey

Small mind, small solutions! Muzzle loader for $200 would give you better range and solution.

YES...again your small mind has a small solution.
If I wanted your opinion cali-carnivore I would shake your cage. If I wanted a muzzle loader that only holds one shot and takes forever for a reload I would have bought one of those. If you keep posting on this thread it will go back to the top and I will continue to make fun of your childish, foolish responses that in your mind only, make sense. STFU.
