Small mind, small solutions! Muzzle loader for $200 would give you better range and solution.

Wierd, my 12 gauge shoots practically the same barnes sabot as my muzzleloader and at higher fps. And it has a much much faster follow up shot. Sunset is hunting 29 so he might as well have the best weapon available...

But back on topic; I think the smoke pole was a good idea. They are fun to play with and relatively cheap. That being said, if Mr. Sunset don't like muzzleloaders, he should stick with the shotgun. It is all personal preferance and the shotgun does allow for quick follow-up shots.
