Has anyone been in the Cache Creek area lately. I'm heading up in the morning to find a pig and grab some squirrels if nothing shows up or there is too many horses again. I found a spot right off the road last time I went to Cache Creek 1-3 minutes south Cowboy Camp with a ton of ground squirrel holes and squirrel activety. Will post my results when I get back.

Far it's north of Napa between Clear Lake and Williams. Google Map this and that'll give you the top left corner of the BLM land. "CA-20 w and CA-16 e, williams California" I got in late 11am so I just walked around the creek and found some fresh tracks that cross the creek right off the bat. I stayed till 8pm and didn't see or hear anything. I think I'm going to call this area quiets till the Buckeyes and Acorns drop.

I have been spending some time out there. Seen a little bit of game out past 600 yards, squirrels were still sleaping though. I am dying to find a place to take my nephew to hunt some squeeks. I come in from the pope valley side, I have used Google Earth to find the trails I try.
