http://vimeo.com/69642110 The adventure of the year – crossing the high Sierra Nevada crest and Great Western Divide east to west with a non-powered paraglider – was completed this month and captured with a video filmed from a helmet cam. The flight is believed to be the first of its kind ever completed, according Stu Polack, a paraglider and flight historian. A paraglider is a form of flying where the pilot sits in a bucket-type seat beneath a thin, wide parachute-like canopy that catches thermals.
