help for hog hunting access

I thought I'd try and put out a message and get some help. I currently live in N/W Nevada and used to hunt hogs in S Monterey CO. I grew up in the Central Valley where ranchers and farmers used to ranch and farm. Now it seems they make their income from hunting access fees or leasing their property for hunting. Since I live in Nevada I find it difficult to get over and try to contact land owners to establish friendships and gain access to hunt. I'm aware of the problems they face with some negligent individuals. I'd like to befriend some individuals who live in N. CA that have already established themselves as responsible hunters and who enjoy a common endeavor. I certainly can afford to pay access fees but I would rather help gather cows, brand, vacinate, castrate, fix fence, cut wood, shovel manure or whatever and befriend a landowner(s) in exchange for hunting privleges.
