I get this message when i try to upload the picture "The total filespace required to upload all the attached files is greater than your per post or global limit. Please reduce the number of attachments or the size of the attachments."

anybody know how to fix that?

There is a number of software that you can download for free to reduce the picture size and allow it to fit in your post. I'll try not to be too longwinded and tell you how I do it. My PC uses Windows XP as it's operating system. If you have Microsoft paint in your computer you can do this: Once the image has been uploaded into your computer, go to my pictures and right click on the image you want to attach. When you do that a box will appear and about half way down it says.."open with" take your curser down to that line and it will open another box and paint will be there. Left click on paint. Your image will appear. At the top of the header it says "image". Left click on this. Then left click on "stretch/skew". When you do this a box will appear and it shows vertical and horizontal and says 100%. Reduce the percentage of each to say
45-50% and click on OK. Now at the top of the image left click on image and go down to where it says "save as". Give this revised image a new name and click on save.

Now go back to your post and try to upload the new revised image. If it still is too big you go back to the process described above and revise the horizontal and vertical to smaller percentages , say 30-35%.

Sounds complicated but after awhile it's pretty easy.

There are probably a number of other ways but this works for me.

Good luck.

Los Padres NF, up on/near plaskett ridge. BTW, I dont think there are any pigs up there, haha. It was my first time up there and it seemed like there were alot of deer tracks. I thought it might be an elk because they don't look like deer horns do they?

I have hunted that area. Heard reports of pigs being there but I never saw one. Where could that elk have come from? Maybe migrated north from Hunter Liggett?

I have no idea. I have heard of pigs being there thats why i explored it. We saw alot of deer and a few buck but I have no idea where this animal came from. It seemed like most of the bones were there so this was probably the place he died, so that eliminated the possibility of somebody using this spot to sun bleach the skull. Thanks for the help, so you all think this is a tule elk(from FHL)?

Yeah probably Tule. From FHL? Maybe. There are pockets of elk in lots of the private land around there. There weas a recent post about a bunch down near San Jose (I think it was there) also. A ranch I bowhunt (Choppers place) has elk sheds found quite often and the neighboring ranches have elk on them. It's a ways from FHL but same general area.
