Hi I'm new to this forum and was wondering if anyone could help with this question.

I went to the range today to make sure my Marlin 336 30-30 was turned in right for 100 yards. I shot about 1/2 dozn rounds of FUSION 30-30 Win 150 gr. and the pattern was just fine, Then I switched to some new Hornady flextips 30-30 Win 140 gr monoflex. With the Hornadys the shot a bit higher about 1" but what was crazy was that they shot pretty consistantly to the left, Averaged about 2 to 3 inches to the left at 100 yards. I shot the whole box of 20.

Any ideas what is going on here?

Thank you in advance.

normal, all amunition creates barrle vibrations. differen bullet designs and powder charges cause the barrle to vibrate diferently.

Thank you 54hawken.

In the end I diled it in to the ammo I plan to use in the field.

It's a new gun so I'll keep checking it at the range and no doubt keep learninig about it and differant ammo.

Thanks again.
