A nice set from my taxidermist Dale Robinson. Owner of the sheds is Scott Boyd of Sussex, New Brunswick. He works as a guide for Bighorn and Moose in the Yukon. These were found in New Brunswick.

Wow! Now you need to set a cam out to catch them sheds when a buck is attached to the other end.

Hey Carll. Dale is just finished mounting a 4 1/2 pound brook trout for me.

I was there today and took a pic of Scotty Boyds sheds.

Yes, these sheds are all from New Brunswick. I live in Moncton and Dave lives in Havelock area.

These are wild and free New Brunswick bucks. Mostly woods deer with a few near farms. Just goes to show that there are some brutes still around and very smart.

The photo of the 3 and half sets of sheds are from my hunting area. I never saw the deer yet but Dave found this years set not even 150 yards from where I park my truck.

I knew the buck was there from the scrapes but never saw him.

What part of Mairtimes are you in?

I remember now Carll. I emailed you once earlier this winter.

Nice bucks! Awesome!

I bowhunt too but find our season is too soon. Too frigging warm and no rut.

I was telling Dale about my deer cams and he had a few their for sale from some clients.

Have you told him about building some cams. He knew there was a whole network of members on a forum exchanging ideas and information.

I heard of some whoppers down around BelleIsle Bay and Gondola point area not to mention the Sussex area. We have some world class bucks. As a matter of fact the World Record BPR whitetail in the semi irregular rifle category was shot in 1999 at Kelly's Lodge in Fredericton area. It was featured in North American Whitetail. It was the highest scoring gross typical Boone and Crokett whitetail in the world. This means it had more bone on it's head then any other in the world without the spread measurement but missed out for the world record due to non-typical point deductions.

Here is a link! I talked to a buddy of mine that saw the buck in person after it was shot. He said it was Collosal!

It was featured in an article in North American Whitetail magazine August 2000 page 28. At the time it had more scorable Typicalgross inches of bone then Milo Hanson's world record but lost out because of deductions.

It could have been the next World Record

Here is a quote " He has more total inches of typical antler than any other whitetail ever" page 32 bottom of column.

New Brunswick record typical
