Looking forward to hear how it goes, I was looking at the same place. I ended up going to Idaho for a slam dunk on a Bison instead. From what I have heard you should have a good time and a good hunt, good luck and have fun!

Good luck Kentuck. I slammed mine in that area on opener back on Oct. 1st. You should do well. We are planning on heading back out for my son's cow elk on the 20th of this month area 072-075.:smiley-mouse:

Back from the hunt. Yes it was with the Goshute Indian Tribe. Story later. Got meat to cut up.

$1,000 was all inclusive; lodging, food and guide. It was at the top end of a cow hunt for sure. I think in the future if I want to do a cow hunt I will check into a good area and do it myself. This was more of a shoot instead of a hunt. Was cool to see a herd of over 100 elk though.

We shot 3 cow elk in one day (Xdhunter, Live2hunt and yours truly) all we paid is Elk tag & Habitat stamp over the counter $256.00/hunter. It just happen that the land owner is a hunter friend. God willing we're going back next year.
