Bigworm,
Good job on the pics. Those hogs looks gruesome. Nice tuskers.

I recognize that first pic! I might even know where it was taken.

The first one and the last one in the first post should look familiar.

If memory serves me correct, Chopper had Dolly and Harley at that time, but that is not her in the photo.

Nice boar... I'd like to try the dog hunt where I'm at. How do you keep them off the neighbors ranch? Is it possible? I'd be in big trouble if they left the property

I teach them what fences they can not cross. HA HA. If they are on a hog they go where it goes. If they smell one, they will go where ever it is. It is not possible to gaurantee they will stay on one ranch. After a while you learn patterns, how quick your dogs will stop a hog. Or perhaps they way hogs usually run in a certain canyon or ridge. This helps you to stay away from trouble spots. I have ended up on the neighbors more than once. If you have a smaller place dogs are not the way to go. The smallest place I hunt is about 3,500 acres.

make sure you stay away from cold nosed hounds if you have a small parcel to hunt on.
