A Coyote morning hunt turned into Bacon bits real fast. Spot, stalk, intercept and shoot. All b4 6:15.Public lands Central California.
Who's, was out there today? I saw 3 of you. Yall may have accidentally flushed this guy to me. Hint: don't be so obvious and try n walk with the wind to your face.
Idk man but not wearing orange and using what's seemed to be gullie suits isn't wise. I thought yall were the pigs at 1st tbh. Hunt safely yall. Don't become a statistic.

Thank you! I scouted for years and recently have fallen onto a good rhythm and lucky streak. The Rain has definitely helped us out here. But yes, the "Public Land Unicorn Hogs" exists! It takes lots and lots of persistence and dedication. Did I mention , LOTS OF PERSISTENCE? As a Disabled vet, I must admit if I could, I'd probably do this way more often. For now, back to the Back and Knee Pains. Medication and ice for a week Time to dodge this Migraine. It was HOT today, stay hydrated!

Great job. Must keep you up at night wanting to get back out there and get another one. I shoot a lot of hogs but run through each shot over and over at night. Especially when I miss.

Thank you sir. I'm glad I'm not the only one that spends an extra month analyzing the shots. I've had 1 pig get away. I haunts me to this day. I'm sure I hit it, I see it on cam, I heard the thump and so I keep going through the shot in my head trying to figure out what I could have done better. But you aren't wrong, I definitely replay the shots in my head. Those coyotes keep avoiding me, I've taken 3 shots with my Mini14. I want to say I've missed by a hair . But I've recently worked on my new sight, so I'll be back to report soon hehehhe.

I do that with all my shots too. I’ve only lost one deer and I’ll never forget it. For 20 yrs I had a rock with a dark blood spot on it and kept it next to my antlers and other reminders of my life outdoors. Every time I saw it it reminded to take my time and be 100 percent sure. That one mess up led to quite a bit of shot anxiety later. I think I let the rock go around the same time I let the anxiety go . . Keep up the good work!!!
