I could tell a couple of the sows were pregnant. They missed a couple days at the feeder and then showed up with some extras.

I agree with TRA an Air rifle, well sighted, head shots, you could lay down every one of those pigglets without any comotion.
Need help? Gdog is known for shooting Sparrows thru the eyes at 50 yards with his HPAR !

No you could not lay down one of those piglets with an air rifle. Not a chance. You can cut a piglet in half, as I have, and it will continue to run. I have completely disfigured piglets and they still try to crawl away. Any shot of an air rifle would have the entire sounder of pigs gone in a second and you would never find the piglet. You can watch this video 4 minutes in and see that piglets are tuff as nails. One more thing, good luck with that "head shot" with piglets, they never stop moving, only in a picture does that happen.

DOUBLE TAAAAAAAP!!! Haaahaaahaaa! I love it bro! A little bit of propane torching to remove the hair, a good wash and I would've butterflied those little guys and thrown in a smoker for a few hours. Made my mouth water daydreaming of it lol. Awesome Canam.

Now, now... it was 20yds. Not fifty. With my Break-Barrel .22 Cal which is supposed to give 1000fps for lead pellets.

But yeah.... with a good place to setup... those piglets should totally be doable. I mean heck... they're not much bigger than Rabbits, right? and I've taken plenty of rabbits with that Umarex Octane. Like up to 35-40yds. And the Octane is very quiet. I've even been able to take second shots at Rabbits where the 1st one missed when they were out at the edge of my doable distance. Such as if it was more than a bit windy that morning.

But yeah, I imagine it'd be a real struggle to have 'em remain still long enough to pull off the kind of precise shot you'd probably need to make it happen with a .22 Magnum-class break-barrel. However... something like a .25 cal MRod (Benjamin Maraduer) would for sure do it no problem. There's vids up on Youtube of people taking Coyotes with 'em. And I know how damn tough coyotes are (if the shots not all the way right).

Not to mention that actually seeing piglets while you are with a air/22/whatever and then shooting one with it? Now that would be one long boring fail video!

Yes, please lets not start getting goofy and trash his post. If u want to make a suggestion that's great, if it's not his cup of tea then accept it no matter what the reason is. Make point,Take point and move on.
First off when I said it be cool to use a air gun on the piggies I was just playing around with the thought of doing that even though I know what air guns can do and I accept why cam wouldn't that's cool with me. I guess things are easier said then done until u r in the foot steps that person and their situation.
I like cam I enjoy his post so let's move on too the next one and watch piggies die he has a never ending supply which means never ending videos of "HOG MANAGEMENT ".
ROLL, CAMERA ANNNND ACTION.....LOL....TRA

He gets these types of responses because every time somebody makes any sort of small suggestion weather serious or not canam tries to explain to us how impossible it is.

I understand Steve what your saying, he just has his style and way of doing things, I kinda like his stubbornness to resist the force...lol
I think everyone can get along if we don't start pushing each others buttons no matter who's right or wrong and the digs back and forth.
I like all the regulars on here just like u Steve I enjoy what u share and contribute with us here on Jesse's too.
I like opah too, butt I am convinced he is one of the Alaskan Bush People that was casted out. ...lol
