Hog Heaven

Does anybody know if there is a place to hunt hogs on highway one going to Lompoc... I have heard that there are alot of hogs in that area somwhere and was woundering if the Hogs there can be hunted. Oh also ... does anyone know any information about hunting Hogs in vanderburg air force base... i heard the hogs there are plenty if you can hunt there not being in the military.

There are hogs on Hwy 1 going towards Lompoc, but all of that land is private. A friend of mine lives on the first ranch that you come to on Highway 1 as you get off of the 101. She lives on the right side as you are going up that first steep grade. The lady that owns the ranch is very strict with trespassers and only gives hunting permission to family and close friends. The Julian ranch along hwy 1 does have paid hog hunts as does the Cojo/Bixby ranch, which is on the road to Jalama.

HEY... ILL BE YOUR BEST FRIEND... HAHHAAA..JUST PLAYING.. HAVE YOU BEEN THERE AND HUNTED THERE BEFORE. I KNOW THAT ITS ALL PRIVATE LAND. AND I DONT KNOW ANYBODY THAT LIVES THERE.. BUT I WAS WOUNDERING IF THEY ACTUALLY DO HOG HUNTS LIKE THE RANCHES AT TEJON. CAUSE THAT WOULD BE CLOSER FOR ME IF YOU HAPPEN TO KNOW ANYBODY THAT WANTS TO GET RID OF ANY HOGS... BECAUSE I DO KNOW THAT THEY TEAR UP THE LANDS. BUT I APPREACIATE YOUR HELP.

WHERE CAN I ALSO GET INFORMATION TO DO PAID HUNTS THERE?
