Hey Guys,
Tomorrow will be my last day at a computer with internet access for a couple weeks. Got any more questions, ask 'em now. I won't be online after tomorrow till after the hunt.

Just play the wind as grandpa once said.

I've watched some hunters go through their 1/2 hour spray down rituals and pre hunt washings only to get busted by a deer's nose. We shed skin particles so small that animals that can smell in parts per billion have no trouble finding us. Until we use sealed plastic bubbles to hunt from animals will scent us.

if you have a pc problems
<
there are a couple of people on this hunt that can more than help you out with any problem just short of your ISP being down
<
.

as for the scent thing thing the more you use the better just short of dripping wet the wind will always be the factor in hunting

DON'T TRUST THE CHILIMISSER.
<
He is planning to mess with your sweat glands causing you all to stink to no end, send you out to the field in a 'u' shape while he positions himself in the piggies escape route.

The ole Chili Drive maneuver.

pigig, when you get to the ranch, you'll understand my pc problem.

as for the wind, I guarantee that if you don't use some kind of scent control, besides playing the wind, somebody is gonna get busted by a swirl.

Hey now, c'mon! Don't give up ALL my secrets.

Besides, those Hollister pigs are used to the stench of garlic and jalapeno. It probably won't work anyway.

It looks pretty easy from the directions speckmisser posted a while back. I'll be leaving a bit early just in case though.

Hey Guys,

I had a chance to shoot with BDB this weekend. His arrows are flying true and he's a heck of a shot. Pigs Beware!

I'll be trying to leave no later than 5:00am. I want to make sure and have plenty of time to get there. I started putting stuff together this morning.

I'll be heading out Thursday evening and get a hotel up near King City. Need to do some turkey scouting.

Any other food you want me to bring? I'm venison challenged right now. Let me know what to bring up. Breakfast bacon and eggs?

I just got my Sky Archery longbow and I'm trying to get some arrows for it in time. I really don't want to shoot my PSE recurve, this longbow is so sweet.

Hey Jesse (Spectr17),

I have some 2016 Gamegetter II aluminum arrows, and some 125gr Magnus broadheads. Might be too light for that bow, but they shoot good from my 45# Pearson Spectre, and they're not too bad out of my 52# recurve. I also have some 2117s that I'm shooting, and could probably spare four or five if they'd work. I have the 125 gr Magnus broadheads (haven't been sharpened lately) and some 140 gr Magnus Journeyman broadheads.

Let me know if you need me to bring the spares.

As far as food, it sounds like we'll all be feasting at dinner time. Hunting breakfast for me usually consists of coffee and oatmeal, although I don't know what Chopper's morning routine is like.

But I do like Cazadores tequila.. before AND after dinner.
