Hog Hunt Give Away in NoCal

Most every other forum I visit has raffles of some kind. To be fair to all, the winner is almost always drawn from a hat. You write their post number on a paper, all the papers in a hat, and draw one.

To do any kind of voting really is asking for people to cheat. Random is fair.

Sorry, maybe I wasn't clear. If it isn't done the way it was stated in the first post (that I already read), then the only fair way would be random. The first post clearly states JHO will decide the winner, not that we will all vote.

I'd like to be chosen so I can give the hunt to my dad. He is getting up there in years and has never been hog hunting. He doesn't get to go hunting as much anymore because of his age, but he still enjoys it when he can. He introduced me to hunting and has always been there for me whenever I needed help or support. I would love to accompany him on the hunt to watch him take his first hog. This hunt would be a great gift back to him for all he's done for me my whole life.
