hog hunt in florida

we just got back from our vac in the sunshine state.my son and i did some hog hunting while we were down there.my freind used to own a ranch there so he hooked us up with some guys.we never had so much fun , i will be looking foward to our next trip down there.something about grabbing a 160# hog and flipping him over was awsome. the guys we hunted with were great, and we had the time of our lives and will never forget it. you guys really do have a good thing going there.

we only took 1 but bayed and checked 3 my son used the knife while i held the boar down.very quick and clean way to harvest.and yes on the dogs ,curds and a pit.that was awsome watching them dogs work.

sounds like you had a great time. i love to hunt hogs over dogs and my son and i have both finished them with a knife.what a rush.

it is amazing alot of people here in michigan don't believe that we took our hog with a knife.i told them that they need to try this if they ever get a chance.i would really like to do this again, but next time take a younger sow.better to eat.just to catch and release is the fun part. thanks to the little lake lodge, phil, shane and chuck for the great memories of a father and son hunt. thanks,,anthony
