I am planning to take my Grandson on his first hog hunt and wanting to stay close to home. Has anyone hunted with the guide service that is assoicated with the Colusa Indian Casino. They offer guided hunts near the Maxwell area. If you have hunted with them, I would appreciate infro on how your hunt went and the hunting conditions.
My grandson will be 13 at time of hunt next spring and I am working with him on his markmanship with a center fire rifle. I plan to keep his shots limited to 100 yards to prevent any lost animal and would like to know the average shot distance at the above guided hunts. We also prefer to take a fair size meat hog instead of a trophy boar.
Any information will be appreciated.
