4.5hr drive to them for$50 more then tejon which is only.5hr from my home...

you gotta figure, $1000+ is a lot to spend for my wife and myself... I'm pretty sure a trip to Texas wouldn't be much more and with no tag/bag limit there I'm sure we could get our monies worth in pork

Good luck on trying to save money on a TX hog hunt over a local hog hunt in CA. And beware of outfitters that quote the "no bag limit on hog" without charging extra for each additional hog. Been there and done that way too many times.
