FYI: tomorrow (Wed. 1/10) @ 10:30am pacific time, Doug Roth (Camp 5 Outfitters) and Bob Robb will have a segment on "Expedition Safari"on Versus (OLN) channel, featuring hog and turkey hunting. Doug will probably have his jack russel with him also. Might be worth a look.

I watched it last week, I was really excited about the hog hunting they had, but it was mainly about turkeys. The PH looked and sounded like a great guy and the place looked amazing.
I wish VS and The Outdoor Channel would show more hog hunting. It seems to few and far between in my opion. -YB

If you wanna spend $500 + trophy fees then camp 5 is the place for you. Kinda spendy for me. Considering pigs are free roaming.

That clip has aired a few times in the past. I do agree that the area looks fantastic but it must have been in the spring, real green. Let it get a little later and all of that will be tosty brown. Versus also aired another hog hunting show (Hunting University I think) which showed a hog hunt at Tejon Ranch. It was the only show which openly admitted loosing an animal after it had been shot. I give them credit for that. Reality, it always does not come out picture perfect. But, they did have a follow up show which they managed to hammer a hog.
