My buddy and I were thinking of trying a different area to hunt. We never used an outfitter before. We have hunted Tejon Ranch for the last 7 years on the Pig o Rama. We would like to try a different area and to go with an Outfitter. Any suggestions on a reliable outfitter in California for hutin hogs.
thanks

Just got back from a very successful guided hunt in the King City area. Everyone filled their tags and had a great time the entire weekend. Contact BigBoarStopper on this site for more info.

I second Bryson/Hesperia. Deedy runs a good operation. You have a leg up on some as you basically know how to hunt hogs so you can use her self guided hunt. She has nice cabins too.

Tom Willoughby or Frank Morasci (Both out of King City). I have hunted with both numerous times and hands down, they put you on pigs. They have access to some of the nicest ranches in Central California and the only complaint I have EVER heard is your hunt is over way to quick. If you looking for a quality hunt for a reasonable rate, check both of these guides out!

You can check us out at www.justforhunting.com

Plenty of hogs. Shot 7 boars in March with cutters over 2 1/2" 4 of those had 3" or better and this mutant was right at 4".

I've used Camp5 Outfitters near Paso Robles, CA. Last time was in May 2008. Nice rooms in a ranch house/lodge. Not the cheapest but I felt I got my money's worth. I was a newb and wanted a turnkey operation to learn as I went. Now, I know just enough karate to go out and get my butt kicked. Good luck with whomever you choose. Their site is: http://www.camp5outfitters.com/index.html

I agree..Camp 5 does run a solid operation, but holy hell they are costly! Still finding plenty of guys in the King City area who are running $500-$600 for a complete weekend with a 90% or better success rate.

Camp 5=$1000 pigs. I will admit while hunting an adjacent ranch, I've never seen pig freeways like the ones going in and out of that place. Plus, if you get tired you can just lay around and eat barley.
