Hi all,
Kinda new to the forum, not to hunting. I was wonding if the following strategy would be OK for hog in central CA during the late hot & dry summer season: find a water hole with hog sign around it, climb a tree with a good vantage point, and wait for sunrise with my 30-06. I mapped such a spot with open field, good cover, and sparse chaparral all around a decent sized year-round pond on BLM land in central CA. Suggestions? Comments?
