Guys and Gals. I have personal knowledge of the hunting opportunities in the areas listed ( not the specific properties) and this is a great opportunity for those that want to partake

my first pig was out of uvalde. that place is thick with them. i think my brother told me to fly into san antonio, and he would pick me up. but i elected to go to his home town, and share in the the driving and gas. great area.

from what i saw, it is all hunting under corn flingers.

I've hunted with shane, good outfit! He's a hard working guide. Last year, my buddy shot a pig in the first hour of hunting. Uvalde has an airport, but most folks fly into San Antonio and rent a car. It's a two hour drive to Uvalde area.

We hunted from stands, blinds and feeders abound.

OK, but is it set up for bowhunting with close shots from treestands or tripods or blinds?

Yes ... mainly pop ups and tripods. Not a whole lot of treestands out in this country.

Speck,
I'll be glad to take you on a tour of the ranches and take pics. They are not in the direction of the exotic hunt but we can make it happen.

What's the lodging set up like? For me I'd rather be in my own tent somewhere on the property than in a bunkhouse.

How much is an not residential license? Do you need tags or stamps etc. for the hogs?

Last year, it was $45 for a non-resident, 5 day license. Exotics and pigs (varmints), not considered game animals, so no tags required and no season. Hunt 'em year around.

1st ranch the lodging is on a seperate ranch. 3 bedroom 2bath house, bbq pit, stove, fridge, and freezer. 7 sets of bunkbeds. Satellite tv.

2nd ranch the lodging will be on the ranch because of its local. Really the same but alot more luxurious than the first.
