Hog pictures

Hey guys! trying to be a bit more active on the forum. Been doing a lot of hog hunting the past few years, everything from the little guys to the monsters, one was over 450. I like roasting them over the fire after a nice brine.

Was out in Paso Robles last week, ran into 11 nice sows, all fat and pregnant, all over 200, just eating barley in the open field in the middle of broad day light about 11am.
Oh also 3 herds of elk (2 on the base), a ton of deer.
one of the good days was when I smoked 5 pigs, all using the same trail. Weights were about 2 x 40-50s, a 75, a 120, and a 250, taxidermied his head so you can't see the head in the pic but he's way in the back. sweet day of hunting

Was this out at FHL, have been looking for somewhere to hunt pigs. Just got back from Lake Sonoma with no success. Still trying to fill my pig tag.

This is FHL, right? The Does sure do like the shade of that one tree don't they!

yes this was driving by FHL on the way to Paso, saw a ton of elk, this is one of the smaller herds. Here's another or possibly same herd, but about 1 mile apart from the last elk pic - same field.

@brianb i never hunted FHL yet but there's good land all around CA nowadays for pigs. see anything at lake sonoma?
