I usually only hunt bird but have been wanting to go pig hunting for a while I don't know anyone from my area who pig hunts, but if you want to meet up on one of the next few weekends i'm down for a pig hunt. I'm from Clovis in the Fresno area and am pretty chill I'm just interested in a new hunting experience trying to get my feet wet in a new sport let me know if you want to meet up and give it a go.

Hey Respectable Hunters. I'm in Los Angeles area, new to wild pig hunting. If anyone want to fill up a pig tag(yours or mine) lets talk. My 4wd SUV is getting additional cooling installed for A/T after overheating accident at SNF. I'll be ready in couple of days.

I am also interested in doing a hog hunt. I went today to Laguna Mountain Rec area, walked about 5 miles and saw lots of young deer but no hogs. I am down for FHL or anywhere else that is in the area. I live in Lemoore.

I'm going to go with 1st Choice Outfitters out of Fairfield here in a couple months (once I've got my license, got my gear, and have my skills up to snuff). He has access to land up in Sonoma County. $450 guided. $300 semi guided.

After I do my guided hunt (to learn the basics), I'll definitely be up for some of these hunts.

Are you planing on doing the guided or semi guide hunt? Does he have trophy fees? How much for an additional pig?

No trophy fees. I'm doing guided because I'm very green/rusty at hunting and I figure doing a guided hunt and picking his brains while we're out there will be the quickest way for me to learn. I've watched videos, but I don't even know how to field dress and animal. I'm sure I could figure it out, but it'd be nice to have a "pro" there helping me out....assuming I get a pig.

I can't remember what his 2nd pig fees are. Here's his site.

Hey all, I'm headed to Lake Sonoma in Nov Dec Jan and through March, I'm interested in rifle or archery anywhere we can get after hogs. My schedule is pretty flexible within reason. Honestly I'm a single guy with time and opportunity. I have 2 young boys i want to teach the art of Hunting to but i would like to network and connect with other hunters share good time and create great "fish stories" about the buck or hog or bear that got away!

Sheep if you need company at Sonoma I try to get out when I can, as I live pretty close. Let me know.

Void there's a guy from Hawaii who has a couple videos on the tube about field dressing hogs. I liked them a lot and they were easy to follow. I'll look for a link if you want...

we can get a deal for sure. One day hunt with one night in bunk house is $200 and 2 day hunt with 2 nights in bunk house is $300. the kill fee is $200. So 1day/nights is $400 or 2day/nights is $500. If you don't get a pig you don't pay the $200 of corse.

The deal price is $50 off either hunt. So if you get a pig the price will be $350 or $450 depending on how long you want to stay. Sounds like a real good deal. Much better that the $550 plus I read about all over this crazy state.

One day for 450 holy crap you can go down south and pay that for a weekend. Broadside boars only 100 bucks more it's a weekend and great chance at a hog or 550 for a free range place down in coalinga for a weekend.
