Sounds like a wonderful event. Guess I'll have to get up early one of these weekends, kick my dog, beat my wife, grab a 6pack and head out to watch the dogs tear up the hogs. I have just the white tank top to wear for the occasion......
I would say they are walking a thin line if they are using catchdogs. Most of these events disqualify your dog if he catches. Those are hog baying contests, None of these events allow cameras. They try to make it sound cruel when the say the tusks are cut off with bolt cutters. Domestic hogs have tusks also and they are broken off for eveyones safety along withother livestock. Personally, if they are going to have a catchdog contest, the hogs should be fully armed...tusks and all.
