Hogs, Girls, and Bows

Here's my daughter, Ashley, with her first hog and first bow kill. She got this hog on a youth hunt sponsered by the Hill Country Bowhunters Assn. of Texas.

BTW,  Where in San Antonio are you at?  My parents retired there on the north side (up past the airport), and I go back there fairly often.  There's a great range out on the west side of town called "The Bullet Hole".  Pretty good setup if I remember correctly.  Might be worth looking into if you haven't already been there.

Great picture...thanks for sharing.  I always like to see young kids getting into hunting, especially young ladies.  I hope my daughter will be interested when she get older.  Probably not, she is already extremely "prissy," which is OK too...

MarinePMI: I would show your friend this picture.  Maybe she would like the adreneline rush of bow hunting wild pig???  Also, point out how small the young lady is...LOL!!!

Walker: Congrats to your daughter. That is awesome. I have two daughters, 3 and almost 1.  I  pray that at least one of them will take to hunting with their Pa.  My BEST memories are hunting and fishing with my dad.  You're a great father.

A small world indeed!  I'm usually back there around Xmas, may have to give you a holler and maybe meet out there.  Besides, it'll give me an excuse to get my Dad and brothers out of the house (away from the screaming nephews(x3)).
