Hogs in the Fall

Anyone ever hunt hogs in the fall?  What do they feed on this time of year?  Acorns, I'd assume.  I always hunt hogs March thru July so I need a little help.  Since my deer hunt got cancelled I'm thinking of planning another King City hog hunt.  I'll probably combine it with some wingshooting.

    I hunt them year-round with dogs.  I would be inclined to agree with you regarding  feeding on acorns at that time of the year.  If the mast crop is poor, I would expect them to be concentrated around ag crops (if available) or other reliable source of food.  They may be hungry enough to come down out of the hills of King City and look for ag crops.  
    I hunt rangeland and when the mast crop doesn't pan out, the hogs start hitting the afterbirth and calves with a vengeance.
