Mostly on private land. Some ranchers will charge you a "trespass fee" to hunt for the day but this varies a lot. Some time ago California passed a law to encourage hunting on private property. The state covers private property owners against liability if they don't charge for hunters for hunting on their property. This removes one of the big concerns of land owners - what if a hunter hurts him/herself on my property? Tejon Ranch has an insurance fee to cover hunter liability because it charges a fee to hunt on the property, thereby loosing the State coverage.

I know guys that own and rent in that area, past the bridge is a hint. Go knock on doors....might get lucky? All you may hear is no.

I live 30 min from there and shoot up there sometimes... I nigh call in wed or thur and try

I was up there all.day.. and didn't see any pig.. or signs that I could see anyways..
