Those are BIG 'uns you plugged & bagged in those pics. WOW!!! I forgot already how you described(on a previous thread) dropping that big piggie in the 2nd pic before it could hurt you bad!! That piggie certainly looks nasty & dangerous. You Tx folks are very lucky to have Mr. Hoggly Grizzly roaming right in your neighborhood. We have to cross 1,300 miles of endless freeways to reach the Hoggly Grizzly 'hood. But it is worth the red eye express, 'cause them Hoggly Grizz are fat, bulked up & tasty & the gun/hunt culture makes it a fun ham slam. Thanks again chap_dog48 for your ranch recommendation(it was superb!!). God bless. larrysogla.

Hi Larry!!!

Congratulations on the hogs!!

I have not been around the computer at all lately, so I didn't even know you were coming!

I am very glad you had a good time and if you get back here again send me an e-mail and maybe we can" hunt em' "together next time if you like!!

You could have taken some of the ones we have in the pen if you had not had any luck with your hunt.

Anyway, hope you enjoyed it and remember to call next time your around!!

Dear Aunt Cathy...er Satchmo,
Thank you for your kind invitation. Texas is so big & yet so friendly. The 1,600 mile road trip to Houston, half of it(800 miles) is crossing Calif., Arizona & New Mexico. The other half(another 800 miles) is from Texas(El Paso) to Texas(Houston). We could be driving from sunrise(6 AM) to sunset(6 PM) on the freeway & we are just whizzing along from west to east inside TX. It is huge!!! The hunting is top notch &

Satchmo,
It was an early Thanksgiving turkey present for you. Glad you had such good luck!!
Texas turkey or was it out of state?? Did it end up being saved for Thanksgiving dinner??? Texas is really a fun & friendly place. Glad for your turkey success. Keep the exciting stories coming, we enjoy them all. God Bless. larrysogla.
