Well ive lived 17 miles from them for 20 years and have never tryed them. Going to give them a go next week, 17th - 19th, hope i will have some pics and stories to show and tell.
keep us informed about the hunt are you going to hunt with a bow or use a rifle i would like to give them a try one of these days. the last time i was out that way me and my dad were coming from the cost we stopped counting after we saw about 60 hogs off by the road. thats the most i ever seen. im sure youll get on them hogs good luck
My advice is to sit and wait in the "saddle area". it is probably the best area for a clear shot and the piggies definately run through that area.
good luck!!!
When I lived in SoCal, I knew a guy who used to go there a few times a year. He always got at least one out of there. One I know of made the homepage of the CBH site.
Yes - give us all the details when you get back. I have a daughter and son-in-law who live in Coalinga, so it'd be nice to add a hog hunt to a visit there. He's a firefighter-paramedic there.
My brother and I will be hunting there on the 27th thru the 29th. We both will be hunting with the bow and this will also be our first time there. Hope to hear good things about the ranch. Let us know how it goes and good luck.......
