Hogs Wild question?

Just wondering if anyone is bowhunted with "Hogs Wild" in Coalinga? I'm thinking about booking a hunt, and was hoping for some first-hand experiances.

I havent been up there in 4-5 years. Larry (the owner) has a couple of different type of hunts going. At least he did back then. He has his fenced hunt which is about 1 square mile of the thickest, steepest country you could imagine. I've never hunted it but I know a few that have. Its fenced, but from what I hear is a pretty tough hunt. I've hunted on his open ground hunts a few times. I even had my bachelor party up there! I had 9 of my best buds on a pig hunt. Pretty cool deal. We stayed up in one of his cabins. We had 4 pigs down the first night (Friday) we were there. What he used to do was lease some land from some of the local ranchers and put hunters out there. It was great when there was barley growing. When there wasnt any, it was real tough. The last time we were up there, he had camps set up all over the place and it almost seemed like he was over hunting it. The numbers of pigs were going down and in a hurry. We stopped going and started going to Tejon, which was incredible. The bummer is that my buddy who had the archery hunt program on the Tejon, no longer has it. Anyways, enough babling. My father booked an archery hunt for us this next weekend. I'll give you a report next week. The hunt starts Friday at noon and ends Sunday at noon. We will be hunting the archery area. This is 640 acres fenced, and will be my first "fenced" hunt. Since I am looking for a meat pig I guess I have no issues with it. When he was asking about success rates my dad was told it was around 40%.

I'm a little worried about the fenced part of the hunt. I did talk with one of guys up there and he told me the same thing, 30-40% success rate. He also emphasized that this is not a "pay and kill" type of place.
