Not free roaming, the 600 acres is fenced. I've heard it can be a fun hunt, but the water at the cabin's is pretty bad, bring your own bottled water. The land is rugged and fairly barren.

yes the land is fenced but the hogs have dug under many places in the fence basicaly making them run free, the fence is the keep the exoctic's in not the pigs! and there are plenty CATS feeding on the goats

I don't think Hogs Wild has any exotics, JCA has both exotics and hogs..I have not been to Hogs Wild in a few years so maybe they do now. Hogs Wild has an area that is fenced in as well as "drop camps" that are outside of the area that are pretty good from what I hear. I got a big boar from the fenced area a few years back...let me tell ya..those pigs are smart. They are very evasive and know what is going on... You will have a good time if ya go...

When I hunted there three months ago, they just had three hundred acres and it was fenced. You could hunt with rifle, pistol, or bow.

Hunted there last fall, 600 acres, rough country but very challenging, not your typical fenced hunt. I had numerous chances on pigs and finally got one. I've pig hunted all over and this was probably the most taxing and exciting hunt that I've been on with a bow. If you still hunt you will see or hear pigs all day but the are very smart and I know of a few guys that didn't get anything on their hunt so it's not a guaranteed hunt. Bring your own drinking water and maybe a propane cookstove, they have the barbque cooking each night but its easier if you bring your own.

After looking over some of the other replies I'll add the following, the land is not barren it's very brushy/treed and steep, no exotic's and the cats were eliminated a few years back according to the owner.Where we hunted was archery only, no firearms. If you want to sit you can probably see hog's and if you want to really hunt you can bust your chop's hunting along the creek up to the fall's. lot's of pig's deer and turkeys.
