How Many Firearms do you own?
I've had people look at me kinda funny when I tell 'em but they can't seem to understand that each one serves a different purpose. So please...gun owners only,
How many do you have?

I own 5 basic guns.
30-30 with open sights for hogs and dear.
12 guage over and under for pheasant, duck geese, and chukar.
20 guage for dove and quail.
22 rifle for squirrels, rabbits and plinking around.
38 special handgun as a backup for hog hunting.
Hoping to add a 22-50 and/or .270 to my collection.

To top that off I have to start acquiring more weapons because my wife starting hunting with me to spend time with me. What a great women she is; boy did I get lucky.

Jess.

I own only 5
A .22 ruger, for small game, like rabbits
A 30.06 for california big game
A 300 win mag, for BIG game
A 12 gauge shotgun, for rabbits and upland game
A 44 mag for protection

That pretty much sums up all the firearms that I would need to do the hunting that I do. No need for more (that was so difficult to say).

Left and right side of safe is full. Need to count again! I am in the same situation as you Jess. Wife took up hunting last year wich opened the door to more purchases. Time to purchase a safe with two doors. I feel lucky also to have her hunting with me. This is my first post and want to say HELLO to all the JHO boys.

Welcome aboard Superduty. The thinkg I like the most about my wife hunting is that she encourages me or us to go out looking for those piggies. She won't eat domestic pork, only wild piggies.

At least 19, that I can remember. And not counting air rifles. But I just bought a bigger safe, so there's room for more.

Thanks guys for the welcome. I have enjoyed what this site has to offer so far and am looking forward to getting to know most of you. Maybe I will go to the ham slam and get a chance to meet some of you die hard pig hunters.

Guys,

Please don't get into any trouble. The only thing they'll mention on the news is how many guns you owned.

Guess I'm not crazy. There's actually only one more I want (I keep saying that)
Just a 223 for longer varmint shots.

That'll pretty much fill my safe.

Wait...I know....A bigger safe! Yeah that's it! ! !

Thanks guys.

Can I be your new best friend. That is absolutely freakin' awesome.
I get to reload with a buddy of mine with his equipment but this is incredible. If this post were a contest, huntducks would have it hands down.

Just bought another 10 gun safe yesterday, gives them a little breathing room and open slots for 5 or 6 more.

16 that I can count off the top of my head.

When I was in college I lived with my Dad in a two bedroom apt. We counted one day and had 28 guns in that apt. God help anyone trying to break in!
