CaliJeephunter, the second picture was seconds apart from the first, and I know because I took the pictures. The hunter was always right next to the pig and he never moved. There was no repositioning to make the pig look bigger! These pictures were never intended to be posted because there are always some extra comments besides the usual congratulations. That’s why I don’t post pictures anymore, but I will make an exception this time. The hunter’s cousin posted them because he was a disbeliever himself and knows better. This pig was the hunter’s first trophy game animal and yes, it was 300lb. I can say this from being there and having killed game animals over 300lb for comparison. Three people had a hard time moving this pig upright for the pictures and it had to be quartered and two packing trips to get him out. I weigh 255lb and I (right)am holding the pig’s ear for balancing. Check out the girth of the pig compared to mine. By the way the pig's midsection was in a shallow pit to keep him upright and his cape had thining hair like our local bears in summer or ele he would look bigger.
